Biography

Chris Houliez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing at the Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan. His current research aims at re-interpreting taken-for-granted marketing concepts by challenging our Cartesian view on space, consumption, and consumers. He is also conducting research on the impact of new technologies (e.g., 3D internet) on the evolution of places of exchange (e.g., shopping malls).

Chris Houliez currently teaches at the undergraduate and graduate level. He has taught Marketing Research, International Marketing, International Business (graduate level), Consumer Behavior, and Marketing Strategy courses.

As a market research practitioner, Chris Houliez directed, for nearly a decade, business-to-business and consumer research projects for Fortune 500 companies, in both Europe and North America.
