Message from Leanne M. Bellegarde, Director, Aboriginal Initiatives

Welcome of the Edwards School of Business – Aboriginal Initiatives! The Edwards School of Business is the leader in business schools providing dedicated support and services for Aboriginal business students. Our Bachelor of Commerce four year degree program provides course content that reflects the contribution of Aboriginal peoples in economic and community development. We support the success of our students through dedicated services like the RAWLCO Resource Room – a student centre for studying, research resources, computers, telephone, and lounge area as well as bursary and tutor assistance. The Aboriginal Business Students Society engages students and the business community to build bridges to improve the economic contributions of Aboriginal people and provides social opportunities to gather with your peers.
With over 1700 Aboriginal students on campus, and a location that puts you on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River, Saskatoon is the province’s largest and most vibrant city with growing Aboriginal population. Saskatoon is home to Aboriginal government offices, an urban reserve, Aboriginal economic development, and a lively Aboriginal arts community.
Let us be a part of your success and prepare you for your future.
