MPAC 812:  Advanced Financial Reporting

This course provides students with an in-depth knowledge of Canadian and International Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and a thorough understanding of when to apply them.  This course also enhances students' ability to understand an entity's reporting requirements and provides relevant, accurate and complete information to its stakeholders.

In this course students:

• extend their knowledge of major financial accounting and reporting issues which they will face in the future
• develop intellectual, communication, interpersonal and professional skills, and
• master the full breath of technical material of advanced financial reporting
