Fee & Financial Assistance

Although the fee structure can vary from year to year, fees remain competitive with those for similar graduate programs. Exact descriptions, costs and payment regulations can be obtained by consulting the current University Calendar. A fee schedule is included in the application package.

Payment of Fees

Graduate students must register at the beginning of the academic year and arrange for payment of the required fees. Arrangements should be made through the Business Office in the Administration Building within 14 days of the beginning of the regular session.

Payment by instalments is permitted in most cases. However, to avoid late payment charges or misunderstandings, students are strongly advised to make sure that they fully understand all the requirements, and that satisfactory arrangements have been made with the Business Office before any problems arise.

Financial Assistance and Research Resources

Excellent funding is available to qualified candidates. Professional Fellowships of up to $5,000 are available to all candidates. In addition, University Graduate Scholarships of up to $12,000 are available to candidates with superior undergraduate records. Students may also be provided course teaching opportunities with remuneration of approximately $3,400. Finally, those applicants not awarded a Graduate Scholarship are eligible for a full or partial Graduate Teaching Fellowship valued at up to $11,300.

Excellent computer facilities, an extensive library, and collections of computerized and microfiche corporate data are available for student use in course work and theses.
