(1) University Graduate Scholarship: University of Saskatchewan Master’s scholarships are highly competitive and are currently valued at $15,000 per year and renewable for up to 2 years subject to maintaining acceptable academic standing. These scholarships may be offered in a university wide competition (Non-Devolved Scholarship Program) or through the department (Devolved Scholarship Program).

(2) Graduate Teaching Fellowship: University of Saskatchewan Teaching Fellowships are valued at $15,000 per year for up to 48 months at the Master’s level. Students are required to work 12 hours per week for the September to April period.

(1) University Graduate Scholarship: University of Saskatchewan Master’s scholarships are highly competitive and are currently valued at $15,000 per year and renewable for up to 2 years subject to maintaining acceptable academic standing. These scholarships may be offered in a university wide competition (Non-Devolved Scholarship Program) or through the department (Devolved Scholarship Program).

(2) The Centennial Merit Scholarship was offered by the Saskatchewan government in honour of the province’s centennial. Recipients had to be graduate students with Saskatchewan residence status who filed a 2004 Saskatchewan Income Tax return. Graduate student recipients had to have filed a 2004 Saskatchewan Income Tax return and be Saskatchewan residents.

(3) Mr. Harold Milavsky and Wascana Energy have provided funds to support an assistantship for a student enrolled in a Masters program in the Edwards School of Business. The award is given on the basis of academic achievement and financial need.

(4) The CFA Scholarship is offered jointly by CFA Institute and CFASS in the following amounts:

  • CFA Institute Portion: equal to the total registration and enrolment fee, less US$150.
  • CFASS portion: US$150 to cover the remaining enrolment fee.

Recipients had to be CFA Institute members who are also a member of the CFASS; or CFA candidates permanently residing in Saskatchewan who are currently enrolled in Level I, II, or III of the CFA Program; or Students permanently residing and attending a university in the province of Saskatchewan who, at the time of registration, are enrolled as graduate students or final year undergraduate students who expect to earn a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent no later than December 31, 2006.
