Tuition and FundingTuition The College of Graduate Studies and Research at the University of Saskatchewan governs tuitions and fee structures for graduate programs across the university including the M.Sc. program in Finance. Graduate fees are comparable to similar programs at other universities. The current fee structure for graduate studies is provided below: Master's Thesis Programs - must pay three Standard Term Tuition installments and then the Continuing Registration Tuition each Graduate Term until the end of their program.
Please refer to the Master's (Thesis Students) sections of the College of Graduate Studies and Research website (http://www.usask.ca/cgsr/tuition.php) to get a more detailed description of the fee structure. The estimated minimum Graduate Student expenses for a single student for one year can be found at http://www.usask.ca/cgsr/expenses.php. Funding Although there is currently no guarantee of funding in the M.Sc. of Finance program, there are a number of excellent competitive funding sources that qualified candidates may apply for and that our current and previous students have obtained. These include the University Graduate Scholarship (up to $15,000) for candidates with superior undergraduate records and the Graduate Teaching Fellowship (up to $15,000). There may also be opportunities for students to receive remuneration for teaching courses over the summer and for providing teaching and research assistance to faculty. |
