No more than 50% of the program for the Bachelor of Commerce degree may be transferred from another institution or college upon first admission to the Edwards School of Business. For certain programs involving second degrees (such as the B.Comm./B.S.A.), this transfer may be increased to 75%.
Acceptance into the Bachelor of Commerce program does not guarantee entry into the restricted majors (Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing). Students compete for seats in restricted majors based on cumulative average (as calculated by the Edwards School of Business).
NOTE – The Edwards School of Business will transfer applicable course credit but grades will NOT transfer from outside institutions.
Transfer credit is not typically granted for senior core courses or courses in the major. The expectation is that a student registered in the Edwards School of Business will take the classes prescribed for the program from the University of Saskatchewan. Prior approval for exception to these requirements and expectations must be received from the ESB Committee on Studies and Admissions.
