Master of Business Administration

Master of Business Administration

The Edwards Master of Business Administration (MBA) program helps professionals from all backgrounds who are seeking to advance or change their careers. We do this by offering a learning environment based on practical experience and essential management skills.

No business degree? No problem! Many of our students have bachelor degrees from non-business disciplines but want to learn the business skills they will need to succeed in their industries.

Master of Professional Accounting

Master of Professional Accounting

The Edwards Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) program helps high achieving accounting students who are seeking an accounting designation and a Master's degree. We do this by offering a comprehensive accounting education in a supportive classroom environment. Our students graduate with a competitive advantage as business professionals. 

The Edwards MPAcc program is accredited by CPA Canada. Our successful graduates complete all CPA education requirements and are then eligible to write the Common Final Examination (CFE).

Master of Science in Finance

Master of Science in Finance

The Master of Science in Finance (MSc Finance) program is a two year, research based thesis program. This program was designed to give students the tools and experiences required for a strong career in either academia or industry. The MSc in Finance program provides students with a theoretical background in contemporary financial issues and incorporates a strong foundation in empirical methods.

Master of Science in Marketing

Master of Science in Marketing

The Master of Science in Marketing (MSc Marketing) program was developed in response for the need for a PhD preparation program in Marketing. This two year, full-time, research based program focuses on marketing theory, consumer behavior, and research design. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be well prepared for entry into a PhD program and a career in academia, or for a career in industry.

Graduate Certificate in Leadership

The Edwards Graduate Certificate in Leadership (GCL) supports current and emerging professionals from all backgrounds who want to elevate their careers and be effective leaders locally and globally. We do this by providing a high-quality education in a diverse classroom environment over three courses. Classes are scheduled in the late afternoons and one full Saturday per course.

More than a credential, you will have increased self-awareness and heightened inner potential to make an impact through leadership.

Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Economics (PhD)

PhD in Applied Economics

A PhD in Applied Economics will give you the skills to conduct research for businesses, governments, think tanks, and other research organizations, as well as to train the next generation of applied economics professionals as an academic.

The PhD program combines advanced courses in applied economics with a major research dissertation. The core of the program focuses on microeconomic theory and quantitative methods with one advanced course in macroeconomics. The student and their advisory committee determine the remainder of the student’s field courses.
